At Hampton College, Head of School John Gilligan commented: ‘this has been a particularly difficult time for our year 13 students and I pay tribute to the way they have dealt with the uncertainty and ongoing speculation that has surrounded the awarding of A Level grades this year. They are a tremendous group of talented and hard-working students and all deserve to move on positively to their next stage.’
Many Hampton College students again secured progression to some prestigious destinations, which include:
- Daurimas Klimavicius – Medicine at Queen Mary, University of London
- Iga Kaszuba – Veterinary Medicine at Nottingham University
- Jessica Dixon-Walker – Sport Science at Loughborough University
- Ethan Lee – Mathematics at York University
- Abigail Branston – Law at York University
- Wiktoria Dziurowicz – Law with Psychology at Nottingham Trent University
At Hampton Gardens, this is the first set of external results for the school. In what has been a strange year, a small cohort of students had studied courses across Hampton Gardens and Hampton College and are now celebrating the grades they have been awarded. Of the students who applied for a place at University, 100% have been offered their first choice. Al Greenwood, Head of School, commented: ‘this is a fantastic achievement for all the students and the staff involved in helping these students progress to the next stage in their learning journeys. We are very proud of what this cohort of students has achieved, considering the difficulties of the last six months, and look forward to building on this success in future years.’
Year 13 have been a credit to Hampton College and Hampton Gardens School and we are immensely proud of them. We wish them well.
