Hampton College and Hampton Gardens School Post 16 results 2023

Students and staff are celebrating at Hampton College and Hampton Gardens School, where Post 16 courses include joint provision taught across the two schools and the Results Day for all students is again being held on the Hampton College campus.

At Hampton College, Executive Headteacher, Dr Helen Price commented: ‘we are so proud of our Year 13 students today. They have had to face very tough final examinations, which have been more stringently graded than we have seen in recent years. We should not forget that they suffered sustained disruption to their education during the Covid years, including not being able to sit in-person GCSE examinations in 2021. Their courage and resilience to get to this point has been impressive. I would also like to pay tribute to the incredible team at Hampton College, who have supported these students, not just in the run up to the examinations, but through some very challenging times in recent years. We wish our students every success in the next stage of their education or training. They are a fantastic group of young people and we will miss them.’

Notable individual performances and destinations include:

At Hampton Gardens School, a small number of Year 13 students took vocational programmes, or a mixture of vocational and A level courses, offered in conjunction with Hampton College.

Kevin Ainslie, Head of School, commented: ‘we are delighted with the results for our Year 13 students and hope they are rightly proud of themselves. This has been a fantastic effort from the students and I would like to thank all the staff involved in supporting our amazing students to gain such positive outcomes. I know that this group of young people will continue to be successful in the next part of their life either in education, training or employment. We wish them all the success for the future.’

All students at Hampton Gardens passed all of their Post 16 courses.
